Hello my name is Joshua Wessley, this is my first website, yes website..

I will be posting random things here, maybe sell things in the future….

A trumpet is a brass instrument traditionally used in classical and jazz ensembles. Its bright, penetrating tone is produced by lip vibration against its cup-shaped mouthpiece. The trumpet consists of a long, narrow tube bent into a rounded, oblong shape, culminating in a flared bell. Modern trumpets typically have three piston valves that, when engaged, alter the pitch by changing the length of the air column inside the tube. The instrument’s construction allows for a wide range of dynamics and expressive abilities, from the softest, mellow tones to powerful, high-pitched blasts.

The trumpet’s history dates back thousands of years, with its ancestors being used for ceremonial and military purposes. Over centuries, it has evolved from simple signaling devices into highly sophisticated musical instruments. The standard B♭ trumpet is the most common type, but there are also piccolo trumpets, known for playing in the higher register, and bass trumpets, which sound an octave lower than the standard. A key instrument in orchestras, wind ensembles, brass bands, and jazz groups, the trumpet is celebrated for its agility, range, and the brilliant quality of its sound, making it a pivotal instrument in many musical genres.

I woke up, and went back to sleep MULTIPLE times. I then go to shower, and warmup on my trumpet, right after I finish my breakfast. (Oatmeal.) My mom made it and it was DEEEElicious. I then read ALOT, Indiana Jones, Events in the life of a cactus 🙂 After this I practiced my trumpet for 45min. We then left for the lords day meeting. I then practiced for another 45min. Thats how it is going as of 8:00 tonight. I plan to practice one more 20min. session of my trumpet after I write this blog, then I will probably watch a movie with my sister, and dad, and the go to bed 🙂 Have a good day! Joshua
